This subject continues the students learning in Clinical Measurements in a Pathophysiological based program. the student will continue to explore fundamental issues of respiratory, sleep and neurological measurement, analysis and interpretation, quality assurance, basic technical skills and manual preparation. This subject prepares the student to work as a multidisciplinary Clinical Measurements scientist. Therefore, organ system function and physiology and pathophysiology will be reviewed with a focus on the methods required for the investigation of disorders and the clinical interpretation and reporting of results. This subject fulfills part of the requirements for students wishing to be employed as Clinical Measurements Scientists.
