This subject has a focus on the development of competencies in research integrity, with an emphasis on human research ethics. The subject will review topics including research merit and integrity, justice, beneficence, and respect. Successful submission of a human research ethics application is one of the requirements of subject completion.
Learning Outcomes
- differentiate major human research integrity issues;
- apply human research ethics guidelines to the design of a clinical research project;
- develop and gain relevant approval for a human research ethics application.
