This subject is concerned with advanced methods of data analysis and predictive modelling. The emphasis will be upon refining the design of investigations so as to best leverage data analysis to answer the research question.

Learning Outcomes

• demonstrated knowledge of advanced techniques in predictive and explanatory model building;
• demonstrated ability to use appropriate software to conduct advanced data analysis;
• demonstrated ability to appropriately critique research design.

Prerequisites:

Students must be accepted into a 4th year level Psychology stream
