This subject supports students in developing knowledge and skills in project conceptualisation, design and planning. Students will consolidate their skills in searching and appraising relevant academic and/or grey literature in order to evaluate current knowledge regarding a contemporary occupational therapy practice issue. They will then use the findings of this review as a foundation on which to construct a project proposal and management plan, based on which further investigation and/or action on this practice issue can be taken.

    Assessment:presentations (40%); assignments (50%); search strategy (individual - written) (10%).
    Special Assessment Requirements:In order to pass this subject students must submit all assessment; achieve an overall average mark of 50% or above across all assessment items; achieve an overall average mark of 50% or above across all individual (non-group) assessment items; attend and participate in a minimum of 80% of tutorials / workshops.
