This subject provides an introduction to key theories and concepts applicable to health professional education including adult learning, experiential learning, scaffolding, and active learning. Students will learn how to plan an effective learning session and to apply best practice educator knowledge and skills to education sessions.

Students will need to be working in a clinical/non-clinical area in a health related field to observe and apply principles learned in this subject.
