This subject prepares the student to take effective action when confronting the challenges involved in leading in a healthcare environment characterised by increasing change and complexity. Critical to effective leadership is the ability to manage conflict in all its forms. The subject examines contemporary theories of conflict and examines dispute resolution strategies that can be used in healthcare organisations.
