This subject introduces best-practice approaches to the sustainable management of terrestrial landscapes and natural resources in Australia. Lectures provide an overview of selected topics in NRM whilst practicals and fieldwork are used to develop skills in NRM activities and to illustrate the complexities of putting NRM theory into practice. Postgraduate students are expected to demonstrate a capacity to independently identify and analyse NRM related problems and to be able to effectively and eloquently present their ideas to a diverse audience.
