Decided cases have also stated that Australian sport is part of a wider entertainment industry. This subject therefore involves examining what areas of law apply to the sport and entertainment industries, and how they apply. Its objectives are to provide non-law students with a background to the basic principles of the legal system and the basic principles of the areas of law that apply to the context of sport and entertainment.
