This subject is also available to BSW graduates or by permission by the Head of School. Except with the approval from the Head of School/Associate Dean, all subjects in a chain must be studied in consecutive teaching periods.
This subject is available to postgraduation BSW students or by permission of the Head of School. The subject provides a broad overview of research methods and guidance in the design of a sound honours level research study. It will be undertaken by the student with the supervisor.
Learning Outcomes
- demonstrate a detailed understanding of the research process;
- organise and present a written literature review;
- design a research project with an appropriate and relevant methodology and provide design parameters for the proposed research;
- develop and present a written research proposal.
