Available to any students with an interest in physiology, excluding Nursing Science and Pharmacy students.

This subject provides the student with the foundation knowledge for further studies in human physiology and pharmacology. It covers a diversity of functions of the human body including cell and tissue organisation; tissue excitation; blood and lymph and the physiology of the nervous, musculoskeletal and renal systems. Students will be introduced to scientific writing, including literature searching, data analysis, and the application of basic statistics. This knowledge is essential for careers in health related areas, human biomedical research and drug research development.
