This subject explores the concept of illness and examines the experience of hospitalisation on individuals. The skills of decision making and reflective practice are emphasised, with students being given the opportunity to gather, analyse and interpret data in the preparation of nursing care plans and nursing interventions. Students will utilise a problem solving process introduced in Clinical Nursing Practice 1 and will apply this within the clinical setting.
