The English Language Preparatory Program Level 4 UG (LSO410) is a continuation of the ELPP, designed to cover four main areas of reading, writing, listening and oral communication. The subject consists of two major components, an EAP (English for Academic Purposes) course based on discussion of topics related to the modern globalized world, complemented by a foundation of learning activities supported by additional tutorials and workshops that will prepare students for their future course. Level 4 will enable students to develop their English proficiency to a high level and increase access to JCU tertiary programs, especially UG programs that require a 6.5 level IELTS equivalent.
