Learning Outcomes
- apply skills in practical translating;
- analyse and make explicit some of the major differences between English and French e.g. in the ordering of elements within complex sentences, in the linking of sentences and paragraphs, in levels of abstraction;
- analyse and make explicit the importance of cultural values in the comprehension of a text.
