The subject is a basic introduction to those solutions and strategies that we can apply to complex and intractable environmental problems. The subject presents six groups of wicked problems and the strategies that are applied towards their solution: population control, climate change adaptation, protection of biodiversity, freshwater management, sustainable cities for social justice, and sustainable energy provision.
