This subject provides opportunities for students to deepen their discipline knowledge and capacity for creativity by reflecting in a considered way on the processes of imagining, making, innovating, exhibiting and/or performing. Students will focus on developing and refining their ideas and testing new processes to enhance their creative practice and potential for a career in the creative industries. As well as the requirement to refine and produce new creative work, students will be provided with opportunities to reflect on their outputs over time and to consider ethical, environmental, social and other issues of relevance to them as a reflective creative practitioner.
Learning Outcomes
- produce a considered folio of creative work suitable for small-scale group exhibition or subject specific publication in the creative arts;
- demonstrate considered reflection about the aims of creative work in a coherent written format;
- describe the philosophical underpinnings of creative work.
