Introduction to the diversity of animal life, investigating invertebrate and vertebrate animals by comparing their form, function and behaviour. Examination of the animals that use specific local habitats such as rainforest, tropical savanna, freshwater streams and marine environments.
Learning Outcomes
- learn practical techniques for studying animals;
- understand how animals cope with various environmental conditions;
- understand the diversity and organisation of the animal kingdom.
