The subject involves the submission of a research thesis of no more than 8,000 words on a topic negotiated by the student and a supervisor appointed by the relevant school in the faculty. The thesis will be examined by two examiners, at least one of whom will be external, appointed by the relevant school. The subject is available to students enrolled in the Graduate and Postgraduate (coursework and thesis) awards in Social Science.
Learning Outcomes
- to develop and demonstrate independent research and writing skills in an appropriate Social Science field.
