This subject examines the principles and practices of sports training and rehabilitation and the role that the sport and exercise scientist plays in the injury prevention and injury rehabilitation process. Topics include factors contributing to sports injury; injury prevention techniques including stretching, taping and massage; sports injuries and the associated management and treatment modalities; designing programs to prevent and rehabilitate sports injuries.
