Available to students who meet the criteria for enrolment in Doctor of Pharmacy.
In this subject students are expected to spend time working in an area of pharmacy relevant to their Doctor of Pharmacy thesis. The time involved should be approximately twice that for Clinical Attachment (PC6013). The Doctor of Pharmacy placement may be in any area(s) of pharmacy relevant to the Doctor of Pharmacy research. The placement will normally take place in a recognised national, regional or international centre of excellence for the area under study.
Learning Outcomes
- gain skills and experience in an extended work placement environment related to the students area of research;
- acquire advanced methodologies and knowledge useful for the development of the students Doctor of Pharmacy thesis.
