Digital storytelling is the development and telling of stories using digital technologies. In this subject students explore aspects of story development including concept articulation, emotional content, visual and aural themes and relationships, storyboarding, production techniques, sequential composition, editing and outputs. Further investigations are made as to the place of digital story telling as applicable to educational and other settings.

    Assessment:multi-draft production of two digital stories (50%); assignments (15%); online contributions in learnjcu (10%); design of digital storytelling project applicable to educational settings or the creation of an original fictional story (25%).
