Colour management is an essential element when working within the digital visual domain. This subject examines the technical and theoretical concepts of colour management of the complete digital system including camera, software, screen and final print. Students will gain skills and knowledge in establishing a digital workflow and environment within the context of creative and professional work practices.
Learning Outcomes
- apply the theory underpinning a range of digital media workflows in contemporary media arts;
- communicate using the language of contemporary art digital media workflows;
- use practical skills in still image, moving image, intermedia, sound and design workflows;
- develop skills in self directed-learning effectively.
