This subject provides students with knowledge, sequencing, and appropriate integration of foundations of the Christian Church. It focuses on the communal, sacramental, liturgical, ecumenical and social aspects of the Catholic Tradition and their implications for Catholic schooling. The four strands of the Religious Education curriculum: Sacred Texts, Beliefs, Church and Christian Life and the terminology associated with each of the strands will be explored. Students will examine the sources and structure of the core content of Religious Education: Revelation as expressed through Scripture and Tradition, and experienced through creation and human living
