This subject will be primarily studio based and project-driven with an emphasis on student folio development. The subject will provide students with the opportunity and support to work independently, in the application of their relevant skills and knowledge, to produce and realise works relating to the extension and diversification of photographic, lens-based and temporal creative practice. As part of the subject, students will curate and install a presentation of work from their projects. Further to this, students will develop the ability to speak about their own and other students' work through a process of creative, critical and reflective thinking.
Learning Outcomes
- demonstrate an ability to work independently;
- demonstrate increased levels of proficient and aptitude in the use of a variety of lens-based equipment and technology;
- demonstrate the creative process from concept development to production and presentation;
- apply skills in the production techniques utilised in lens-based creative practice.
