In this subject, students are introduced to mobile computing and how it is used to enhance business strategies. A wide variety of applications of mobile computing to business including new business models in the mobile ecosystem are examined. Students use UI guidelines to program and publish mobile apps.
Learning Outcomes
- compare and contrast the major mobile development platforms from an software development perspective;
- assess the important top-level components of the modern mobile ecosystem;
- appraise the important hardware components of a modern mobile device;
- assess how mobile technology enhances business strategies;
- create a modern mobile app using the major mobile platforms.
