Available to Graduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy students, or by permission of the Course Coordinator.

This subject is the second of two subjects that form the Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy. The Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy is a course providing instruction in clinically relevant anatomy to Australian medical and dental graduates and AHPRA registered health practitioners or those with an equivalent overseas qualification. As part of this subject students will undertake studies in histology, embryology and advanced topographical anatomy of the lower limb, thorax, abdomen and pelvis and will include compulsory residential cadaveric dissection workshops.

    Assessment:end of semester exam (30%); other exams (30%); presentations (20%); spot test examinations (2 x 10%) (20%).
    Special Assessment Requirements:For successful completion of this subject: students must attend all scheduled workshops; students must pass (50% or more) all assessment items
