This subject extends the students knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacology in relation to health and disease. Students will examine alterations in nervous, gastrointestinal and endocrine function, as well as their respective drug treatments. Concepts in cellular pathophysiology, inflammation and immunology will be explored. The pathophysiology and management of infectious disease is also covered.
