Students in this subject will be introduced to principles of information design and explore areas such as sense-making and human-centered design solutions. The major creative works will involve visualising complex data, designing usable information for people. Students will explore how complex ideas can be communicated with precision, clarity and efficiency in relation to the needs of people/users. The output of an information design can include information content design, digital or print page design, illustration design and typography decisions. Information solutions may be created for a variety of media.
