Through research and scholarship, students develop an understanding of global, national and local economies in relation to creative artistic outputs. Students will gain insights into innovation, entrepreneurial art making and new visions relative to growth, demand and drivers of Creative Practice. Students will gain an understanding in the fundamentals of economics, marketing and administration in the Creative Arts Industry.
Learning Outcomes
- apply the range of research methodologies relevant to the creative and new media arts;
- select appropriate methodologies and formats for response to a research question or questions in arts economics, marketing and administration;
- explicate the research process and findings within a chosen practical or theoretical project.
