Students are exposed to an investigation of the history and development of creative arts technologies across the fields of image, text, graphic, light and sound. Analog and digital innovations will be explored in order to contextualise contemporary and emerging digital age practices.
Learning Outcomes
- examine the historical drivers relevant to creative arts technologies;
- explain the implications of technological innovation across the creative arts;
- examine emerging practices and their relevance to contemporary digital creative arts outputs.
