LB5201 - Managing Business in a Global Context

Credit points: 03
Year: 2015
Student Contribution Band: Band 3
Administered by: College of Business, Law & Governance

Managing Business in a Global Context delivers a solid business perspective of the complexities faced by executives and managers operating both locally and within the global marketplace. This subject emphasises research, critical appraisal, and problem solution synthesis within highly-competitive (and often unfamiliar) business situations. Within this cross-border (cultural, trade, finance and management) business perspective, issue-based strategic and theoretical situations are considered from management performance and customer capture perspectives. Hence, this subject requires students to contribute individually, and in team activities and to apply theory across business situations.
