Radio documentaries are long non-fictional audio stories which can be produced in various formats. In this subject students are introduced to diverse styles and choose one to produce a detailed long-form piece of radio journalism. This subject hones advanced interviewing techniques, scripting, sound gathering and technical skills to professional level.
Learning Outcomes
- development of advanced skills in radio news and current affairs;
- advanced familiarity with the technical aspects of radio production and presentation;
- advanced understanding of the work of the professional radio journalist.
