This subject develops specific theoretical and practical leadership and management skills required by healthcare industry staff in developing countries. The knowledge gained will include information about: workforce management; resource management; migration of staff out (brain drain) to developed countries; the role of partnerships with developed countries; relationships with external consultants; applying for funding from international aid agencies; and finally, how to undertake planning, writing and implementation of a project.
