This introductory subject prepares the student to understand and appreciate the multi-faceted nature of business and economic activity. Students are exposed to the key decision areas relevant to business owners and to realise the impact of external environmental forces on business decision-making. The economic decisions of consumers, producers and governments are introduced to students with a focus on basic economic principles and procedures.
