Transport phenomena approach to mass transfer. Molecular diffusion in solids, liquids and gases. Models for mass transfer coefficient. General principles of mass transfer operations in stagewise and continuous contact equipment. Binary distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, gas absorption, membrane separation, adsorption, drying and cyrstallization.
