This subject will provide an overview of marine, brackish and freshwater aquaculture activities in the tropics. It will cover the status and methods of culture and production bottlenecks of the major species cultured in this region. including finfish, crustaceans, macroalgae, molluscs and sea cucumbers

A sound understanding of science subjects including basic biology, chemistry, aquaculture and statistics is an advantage
