This subject extends the students knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacology in relation to health and disease. Students will examine alterations in nervous, gastrointestinal and endocrine function, as well as their respective drug treatments. Concepts in cellular pathophysiology, inflammation and immunology will be explored. The pathophysiology and management of infectious disease is also covered.

Prerequisites:BM1011 AND (HS1005 OR NS1003) AND HS1111 AND NS1211 AND BM1022 AND (NS1012 OR NS1004) AND NS1220 AND NS1222
