This subject is only available to students enrolled in occupational therapy.

The purpose of this subject is to equip students with insight and understanding of the impact of physical, social, cultural and institutional contextual elements in engagement in occupation. The subject also aims to enable students to integrate, focus and apply knowledge and understanding gained in all 2nd year subjects.

  • 26 hours lectures - 1 hr per week
  • 26 hours workshops/Seminars - 2 hrs per week
    Assessment:end of semester exam (% - 40%); assignments (% - 40%); group presentation (% - 20%).
    Special Assessment Requirements:A minimum of 80% attendance at tutorials and workshops is compulsory. All assessment materails must be submitted to pass the subject. A grade of 40% or more on the individual and final exam must be achieved to pass the subject overall.
