This subject is designed to provide opportunities for students to develop alternative strategies of creative output/publication within the New Media discipline. Students will be exposed to both digital and analogue publication methods and will explore both commercial and creative art industries. In this subject students and staff will be searching for new approaches to visual arts or visual media and publication.
Learning Outcomes
- recognition of the possibilities and opportunities of publication within Digital Visual Arts and Visual Media;
- a broad understanding of concepts and principles for publishing and/or presenting creative product in industry;
- a refined knowledge of design, OH&S issues, production and presentation techniques, appropriate platforms and hardware for publication;
- experience in publishing and presenting Digital Visual Arts, Visual Media and Illustration for industry.
