NM2301 - Introduction to Web Design

This subject is concerned with the production of web page and web sites and includes reference to principles of composition, HTML, file directory and the optimisation of a site via core elements of typography, images, sound and animation. Emphasis will be on creativity and functionality and examples of simple and sophisticated web sites will be reviewed. Students are expect to create web pages that demonstrate their understanding and use of basic design principles and collaborate with students from information technology.
