This subject firstly introduces students to a foundation on ethics and what ethics actually means and then, by way of practical examples and case studies, builds an appreciation and understanding of good governance practice in modern organisations
Learning Outcomes
- evaluate the specific contents of recent reforms to corporate legislation and their implications for companies and stakeholders;
- evaluate and apply the general principles of the professional code of conduct;
- appraise the key role of professional ethics in maintaining the integrity of external financial reporting.
