Students learn advanced skills of visual storytelling suitable for delivery on television and online, as appropriate to In the changing media landscape. Skills include storyboarding, shooting, and editing. Students are responsible for all aspects of the production of their visual story; they learn how to use the visual medium to best advantage as they produce stories for the JCU digital media platform.
Learning Outcomes
- advanced skills for visual storytelling;
- capacity to prepare an industry standard video package for online or television including interviewing, storyboarding, shooting and editing;
- significant progress towards professional quality production.
