CY5843 - Advanced Professional Studies in Criminology

This "capstone" subject consolidates the knowledge and skills previously acquired in undergraduate and postgraduate studies in criminal and social justice policy and contemporary criminology. Students prepare a written report and presentation that brings together various strands of social and criminal justice theory and policy relating to issues of concern in North Queensland, or in the tropics generally. Field research is not a requirement of this subject.

Prerequisites:Students must have completed at least 12 credit points of level 5 CY subjects.
