Available to all students.

This subject allows students to pursue a particular aspect of discipline study in depth. Students will be required to submit a written proposal to the subject coordinator for consideration and approval prior to commencing their project. Approval of proposals will be subject to the availability of staffing and other resources.

Learning Outcomes

• an understanding of a discipline or disciplines not otherwise studied;
• the opportunity to develop a collaborative project with other students, institutions or organisations.

Assessment:	assessment will normally consist of the progressive development and presentation of work over a series of group and individual sessions (30%); completion and presentation of an individual project (70%).
Special Assessment Requirements:	The assessment of the project which must comprise a number of different assessment items and methods is negotiated between the student and subject coordinator and forms part of a mutually agreed written proposal.
