This subject introduces students to a range of principles, terminology, and technologies used for digital image manipulation. Areas to be examined will include the use of computer hardware and peripherals such as input and capture devices along with mass storage options and the operation of software used for digital image manipulation. Students will be introduced to the ethical and moral debates associated with digital image manipulation and producer / consumer media distribution.
