Subject provides an introduction to the genesis and evolution of life forms across earth's history with an emphasis on the diversity of plants and animals. Investigation of the chemical and cellular basis of life that influences the form, function and behaviour of different life forms. Examination of major groups of plants and animals including aspects of their structure, classification, reproduction and evolution.
