This subject comprises the basics in physics; cardiovascular system; blood and lymphatics; respiratory system; endocrinology; genetics; reproductive system; immunology, introduction to pharmacology and pathophysiological changes.
Learning Outcomes
- be introduced to the general concepts integral to developing an understanding of some of the major physiological processes and systems in the human body;
- further study organ systems which were introduced in the earlier offered subject BM1011;
- be encouraged to integrate fundamental concepts in physics with the physiological processes studied.
