Enrolment is restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Speech Pathology IHCAP Program and the Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours Programs.

This subject will provide knowledge about acquired motor speech disorders (of neurological origin) across the lifespan (i.e. in both children and adults). The subject will develop skills necessary for competent practice in the assessment, diagnosis and management of acquired motor speech disorders within a holistic and client-centred approach.

    Assessment:end of semester exam (30% - 50%); quizzes or tests (10% - 20%); presentations (% - 20%); assignments (20% - 40%).
    Special Assessment Requirements:Students must achieve a minimum of 50% for all assessment components. Students are required to attend a minimum of 80% of all tutorials, workshops and practical sessions.
