Equilibrium statistical mechanics/ensemble theory. Classical and Quantum Statistics. Applications eg ideal gases, heat capacity, magnetism, Bose-Einstein condensation, Fermi-Dirac gases. If time permits, introduction to non-equilibrium statistical mechanics and transport theory.
