<b>CONCURRENT CARDIAC/CORONARY CARE UNIT EMPLOYMENT (MINIMUM 0.6FTE) REQUIRED.</b> This subject explores the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required by registered nurses when caring for patients with a cardiac health problem. Content includes managing the physical and psychosocial needs for patients with cardiovascular health problems, clinical problem-solving and introduction to technological interventions. Competency-based clinical assessment will occur during the clinical practice component of the subject.
