Recognition and management of a person whose clinical condition is deteriorating is a nursing priority. This subject provides a framework through which registered nurses working in acute care areas are able to identify and respond to the clinical deterioration of an individual. Topics within this subject enable registered nurses to prioritise their nursing assessment and management of an acutely ill adult.
